Relax and Unwind
FREE online self-paced programme brought to you by Cambridge City Council's Active Lifestyles Team
The Relax and Unwind programme is a collection of 6 wellbeing sessions which aim to support you to take some time to soothe, relax and refresh your mind and body.
Receive access to 6 different session videos from different local instructors and wellbeing practitioners
Sessions include breathwork, yoga, meditation and self massage
Complete the sessions at your own pace, in whichever order suits you best and repeat videos as and when you wish
This course is designed for adults (age 18+). The sessions are designed for beginners and do not assume any prior knowledge in any of the activities.
There are 6 different videos included in the programme. These include breathwork (both a shorter and longer video), yoga, a body scan meditation, meditation to support sleep and self massage. The sessions can be completed in any order and videos can be replayed multiple times.
The programme is completely free to join. This initiative is provided by Cambridge City Council and made possible with funding from the Healthy You initiative (funded by Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council). As part of the programme introduction, all participants will be invited to complete a baseline monitoring questionnaire. This is a requirement of the project funding and we appreciate your support in completing it.
It can be helpful to have an exercise mat for the yoga session but other than that you do not require any special equipment.
