    This resource is designed for adults (age 18+) who want to get started with running. All information on this resource is aimed at beginner runners who may have questions, worries or just need some encouragement. If you have any concerns or wish to discuss whether this resource is right for you with the team, please contact sport@cambridge.gov.uk

    This resource has information on a variety of topics including mindset and mental preparation, running workouts and exercises, clothing and kit, running shoes, and also common mistakes and how to avoid them. All the topics are developed by top fitness and running experts in Cambridge including Coaches, Running Leaders and Physiotherapists.

    This resource is completely free to access.

  • How do I complete this course?

    We don't see 'Get Ready to Run' as a course but a resource that you can refer to whenever you want some information. This resource is open as long as you want it to be.

  • What happens after I register?

    Once you have registered you will get immediate access to the resource.
